Connecting with Your Loved One in Our Care
Your support is critical to the recovery and well-being of your loved one in treatment at Rainier Springs. Our patients are cared for by a multi-disciplinary team of therapists, nurses, patient care assistants, and our medical staff. With the approval of your loved one and the Care Team, we welcome you to participate in our family-oriented treatment plan.
Please read the following requirements PRIOR to visiting:
Visitation
- Please enter through the cafeteria entry. There are signs directing you to the cafeteria location.
- Visitors must sign in at the reception area.
- Any personal items brought to the hospital for patients must be submitted to hospital staff at the time of visitor check-in. Personal items will be inventoried and checked for safety prior to being given to patients.
- All visitors must be able to present the patient ID number and be listed on the telephone/visitor authorization before being able to visit.
- All visitors will be given a visitor badge/sticker to identify they have been checked in, and the badge must remain visible throughout the visit.
- Visitors will be escorted to and from visitation areas with Hospital staff.
- Each patient is allowed up to 2 visitors per visitation day; visitors must be 12 years of age or older.
- Visitors are requested to limit group size to two (2) visitors at one time. In the event that a visitor is suspected of passing drugs or contraband, the visitor will be asked to leave the premises immediately.
Visitation times are listed on the schedule below. A patient’s ability to receive phone calls is dependent on their schedule and phone availability. Please leave your full name, along with the patient code when leaving a voicemail. Messages will be delivered to the patient as soon as possible.
NOTICE: It is at the discretion of our patients to allow or deny access to information regarding their stay at Rainier Springs. We ask you to please respect their safety and privacy.
Visiting Hours
Onsite Visitations:
Wednesdays: 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Fridays: 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Visitors should arrive by 2:45 pm to be checked in

Patient belongings
The following items are permitted:
- All current medications (including OTC meds and inhalers).
- Five sets of clothing/underwear/socks
- No drawstrings, shoestrings or other ties
- Washers and dryers are available on the unit for washing clothes
- Nightwear/pajamas
- Sweater or jacket
- A small amount of jewelry
- Wedding bands, small post earrings, and a necklace
- Only unopened cigarette packs
